To the editor:
Last Sunday, Aug. 20, we went to see the band Trinity, and all they play is Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, and they do it very well. We left our house in Warren at 4 p.m. and by the time we got to Barrington Beach the crowd was a half hundred strong and growing.
There were no “Wooden Ships” upon the water, but a lone para-surfer was making good time, as the sun showed signs of becoming a beautiful sunset. The crowd was mostly East Bay, I did not see anyone from Ohio or North Ontario or for that matter, “Marrakesh”. They said that they would play until dark, so as the sun went down, I downed the only beer I brought with me as they finished the show with our favorite, “Suite: Judy Blue Eyes”.
If you ever get a chance to see Trinity, especially at a Venue like this, sit back, close your eyes and in your mind’s eye you can see David, Stephen, Graham, and Neil, and listen and be still and for a brief moment, you will be young again!
