To the editor:
The Phoenix editorial of last week recorded the loss of the dearly loved high school principal, Dr. Deb DiBiase. This is just another instance of the local Republican autocracy being totally out of touch with the wants and needs of the citizenry.
This situation seems to be in lock step with the ridiculously inane decisions of the Supreme Court about guns and abortion that are diametrically opposed to the expressed wishes of the majority of the population.
History has warned us that institutions that get so out of touch with their electorate are doomed to failure. Is it not high time to repeal and replace the Bristol Warren Regional School Board who have been unable to improve the standing of the Bristol Warren schools over the past twenty years? Perhaps the same remedy should apply to the disastrously incompetent and Trump appointed justices of the U.S. Supreme Court.
