Mt. Hope High School's Top 10 students for Class of 2023

Congratulations to the Top 10 graduating members of the Mt. Hope Class of 2023.

10th - Emma Serbst
The president of DECA and active in over 12 extracurricular activities, Serbst will be attending the University of Connecticut to study human development and family science.

9th - Zoe Gorman
The secretary of Vocal Ensemble and an active member of the Girl Scouts, Gorman is working on her Girl Scout Gold Award. She will be attending Roger Williams University.

8th - Matthew Gale
Captain of the Mt. Hope baseball team and one of three Mt. Hope representatives at this year’s all star game, Gale will attend Providence College to study Business and Accounting.

7th - Josephine Moore
A member of the Mt. Hope dance team, cheer squad and interact club, Moore has a love of animals and will attend the University of Vermont to study Animal Science and Veterinary Science.

6th - Erika Tally
The Vice President of her class and an active member of over nine extracurricular activities, Tally will attend the University of Vermont to study Environmental Science.

5th - Sonia Bradley
Captain of the cross country team, Secretary to the Class of 2023, a National Honors Society member, and a member of the indoor and outdoor track teams, Bradley will attend the University of Chicago to study English and Political Science.

4th - Nathan Macedo
A member of dance and flag squads, Vocal Ensemble and the Interact Club, Macedo will attend the University of Arizona to study dance.

3rd - Shivani Mehta
Class Treasurer for the executive board and a three-sport varsity athlete, Mehta will be attending the Georgia Institute of Technology to study Pre-Med.

2nd - Laura Deal
The Salutatorian for the Class of 2023 is Laura Deal. A member of the swim team and co-president of the National Art Honors Society, Laura loves working with children and has volunteered as a tutor at Rockwell School and volunteers at Rogers Free Library. She will be attending Northern Michigan University to pursue a degree in Secondary Education Math.

1st - Benjamin Rozea
The Valedictorian for the Class of 2023 is Benjamin Rozea. Benjamin is the President of his class and a member of over 12 extracurricular activities. He will attend Brown University and is considering studying Modern Culture and Media.
