East Bay towns were abuzz with shovelers, snow blowers and plow trucks during the winter's first substantial snow storm on Thursday. In the afternoon as the sun began to show it self from behind the clounds, families flocked to familiar sledding hills at Burr's Hill Park and Colt State Park for a bit of frosty, family fun. In Barrington, Thea Baker and her clan made a giant snowman with a top hat and a pipe at their home on Sowams Road.
