All are welcome to Pokanoket Heritage Day, a free event to give visitors a perspective on Pokanoket life in the East Bay (Sowams) from past centuries to the present day. Guests will get to experience Pokanoket life through dancing, singing, drumming, storytelling and displays on Pokanoket history and culture.
The event is at the North end of Burr's Hill Park in Warren on Sunday, Aug. 6, from 1 to 5 p.m. Free parking is available at Blount Boats Lot 4 on South Water Street or at the Franklin Street Park Park’n’Ride off Main Street.
