As the late summer sun colors the sky over the river, join the Warren Heritage Foundation on Warren’s working waterfront, smack dab in the middle of boat builders and marinas, for their 8th Annual Gala, “A Portside Picnic: Celebrating Warren’s Shellfishing Heritage.”
Enjoy an upscale catered picnic at Blount Clam Shack on Warren’s historic docks. This year’s Gala will feature tempting appetizer stations by Prica Farina, picnic fare from Perella’s Ristorante — of Restaurant Impossible with Robert Irvine fame — and desserts by Edible Arrangements. Of course, chowder and clam cakes are also on the menu.
Back by popular demand is Luther Blount’s South American cayuga dug out canoe, loaded with fresh Rhode Island oysters and clams.
A wide selection of libations will be available, including beer and wine, soda and water, and a creative non-alcoholic toddy concocted by Persimmon Restaurant’s mixologist. Otis and the Shanties will set the nautical mood with music from the sea.
You’ll also be tempted to bid on many unique treasures displayed in our silent auction — everything from art to jewelry to baskets full of surprises.
Your support of this Gala through ticket sales, donations and sponsorships will be returned to our community as Warren Heritage Grants in 2023. Thank you for your support through the years.
Tickets are $75 available online at warrenheritagefoundationRI.org or at DISH (155 Water St. in Warren).
