Warren man arrested for possession of child pornography

The 20-year-old Wheaton Street resident was transported to the custody of the Middletown Police Department following their arrest.

Warren man arrested for possession of child pornography

On June 20, 2024, members of the state Computer Crimes Unit/Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force arrested Elias Pessoa-Cabral, age 20, of 49 Wheaton Street, Warren, Rhode Island, for Possession of Child Pornography.

Pessoa-Cabral was transported to the Middletown Police Department for processing then to Second District Court for arraignment. The Honorable Justice Houlihan set bail at $5,000 with surety, to include no contact with minors and limited internet use. Mr. Pessoa-Cabral was held as a Superior Court probation violator.
