Monday, Sept. 4
A Main Street resident reported two bicycles had been stolen from their shed at 1:01 p.m.

An accident involving a rescue vehicle from Bristol was reported near Metacom and Parker Avenues at 1:19 p.m. One person was transported to the hospital as a result.

An accident involving a car versus a cyclist was reported at Market and Federal Streets at 2:32 p.m. The victim refused a ride to the hospital.

Tuesday, Sept. 5
A Vernon Street resident reported at 10:21 a.m. that one of their extension cords had been stolen. The cord was later spotted by police and returned to the owner.

A man was sent to the hospital after a report from the Town Clerks office at 12:31 p.m. that he may possibly be under the influence of narcotics.

Loose goats were reported on Child Street at 1:13 p.m.

A passerby on Homestead Avenue reported vandalism at the nearby park at 6:44 p.m.

Wednesday, Sept. 6
Anthony Pereira, 67, of 188 Market St., Warren, was arrested following a motor vehicle stop near Main and Liberty Streets at 12:42 a.m. He was charged with DUI of liquor (BAC unknown, first offense), and refusal to submit to a breathalyzer. He was transported to court later that morning.

A dog bite that happened at some point prior to the report was logged on Pokanoket Trail at 7:48 a.m.

A Child Street business called police to report a panhandler at 1:46 p.m. that had been harassing customers throughout the day.

Police looked for a report from Barrington PD regarding a Vespa on the bike path at 2:33 p.m. but didn’t locate the vehicle.

A car got into a collision with a forklift on Main Street at 5:20 p.m. but nobody was injured.

Police dispersed juveniles from Main Street at 7:05 p.m. after a report that they were disturbing people with derogatory language.

Thursday, Sept. 7
Alexander Agosto, 22, of 311 State St., Apt. #1, Tiverton, was arrested following a motor vehicle stop at Child and Elm Streets at 2:52 a.m. He was charged with DUI of liquor (BAC unknown, first offense), and refusal to submit to a breathalyzer. He was transported to court later that morning.

David Siembab, 48, of Bangor, Maine, turned himself in on a warrant at 9:31 a.m. He was charged with making crank or obscene calls and the false reporting of a crime. He was transported to court later that morning.

Andrea Bisbano, 47, of 276 Market St., Warren, was arrested on a Superior Court warrant at 4:27 p.m. They were transported to the ACI later that evening.

Friday, Sept. 8
Rescue personnel assisted in freeing a trapped horse on Touisset Road at 5:32 a.m. It had gotten pinned between a barn door. A vet was called in to assess the animal.

Ryan William Surprenant, 31, of 14 McCallion St., Apt. #2, Swansea, Mass., turned himself in on a warrant at 12:00 p.m. He was charged with two counts of domestic violence (vandalism and disorderly conduct, both first offenses). He was transported to court later that afternoon.

Police assisted in the disposal of a syringe found in a Child Street basement at 3:34 p.m.

Saturday, Sept. 9
Police responded to Market Street for a report of an unruly customer at 12:08 a.m.

A mailbox on Vernon Street was reported as damaged at 6:18 a.m.

Police performed tobacco compliance checks at four locations on Metacom Avenue, Main Street, and Market Street between 3:23 and 3:48 p.m.

Sunday, Sept. 10
Jackson LePage, 21, of 43 Lancelot Terrace, Swansea, Mass., was arrested following a motor vehicle accident near Kinnicutt and Denver Avenues at 12:45 a.m. He was charged with DUI of liquor (BAC unknown, first offense), and refusal to submit to a breathalyzer. He was arraigned and released later that morning.
