Warren's nip bottle cleanup competition has begun

Posted

The Warren Conservation Commission challenges Warren residents to double last year’s nip bottle litter cleanup. For the 2022 Earth Day Celebration, volunteers removed 1,165 nip bottles from Warren’s streets and shores. Two teams tied for the lead by returning with 210 nip bottles each. The starting gun for this year’s contest is fired with the publication of this article.

Collect nip bottles from now until Saturday, April 22, count them, and bring them to the Pete Sepe Pavilion on Hugh Cole Road to be entered for a prize awarded to the person or group that collects the most nip bottles. All bottles will be recycled.
