What started out as Portsmouth’s Senior Night, ended as Quinn McNamara night.

The Barrington High School junior midfielder scored six goals to lead the Eagles to a 16-10 win over the Patriots on Wednesday, May 17.

After jumping out to a 3-0 lead early, the Eagles became a bit complacent and allowed Portsmouth back in the game with eight penalties and numerous turnovers.

Ultimately, Barrington settled in and took control. Chase Squires won 20 of 28 face-offs and Ryan Valentine recorded 12 saves in the win.

In addition to McNamara’s six scores, goals were scored by Jake Ignall (3), Colin Hope (2), Tucker Squires (2), Nick Spaight (2), and Ben Parylak (1).
