The Barrington High School baseball team defeated Mt. Hope 9-3 in a non-league game on Sunday, May 21.
The Eagles and Huskies use the game as a fund-raiser — all money raised at the game is donated to The Jimmy Fund.
The annual showdown started last year, as BHS Coach Vin Scandura and MHHS Coach Mike Mazzarella organized the event in honor of Mazzarella’s late father.
Scandura said the two teams will continue to play the rivalry fund-raiser.
The Eagles took a 5-1 lead in the bottom of the first inning, paced by hits from Quinn Murphy, Trevor Snow, Harrison Cooley and Miles Fontaine.
