St. John’s Church will host a series of farmers markets this summer. The first is scheduled for Thursday, June 29.

Sponsored by the Barrington Business and Community Association, the farmers markets will take place on five Thursday afternoons — June 29, July 13 and 27, and Aug. 10 and 24. They run from 4 to 7 p.m. each day.

The BBCA farmers markets started last summer and hosted a wide variety of vendors, including the Barrington Farm School.

BBCA’s Bryan Hoffman earlier praised leaders at St. John’s Church for opening up their property as the host site: “Having St. John’s Church as a site really worked about as perfectly as we could have hoped for and being able to have the communal experience of live music, great kids’ activities and wonderful food, gifts and produce was wonderful.”

There is a table fee of $35 for vendors. For more information, visit www.Barrington BCA.com

St. John’s Church is located at 191 County Road.
