Kira Cortese recently installed a Little Free Art Gallery in her front yard on Court Avenue in Barrington.
Modeled after the Little Free Libraries, where people can leave or take a book, the Little Free Art Gallery offers people an opportunity to leave a piece of art, or take one.
“Every day new items appear, both from kids and adults,” Ms. Cortese said. “It’s so exciting to see!”
Ms. Cortese has been creating art for her whole life — she has taken continuing education classes at Rhode Island School of Design over the years and currently has artwork for sale at Made in Warren Artist Co-op.
