Police search for suspect vehicle comes up empty

A Barrington teenager called police at about noon on Sunday, Oct. 9, after someone began following her while she was out for a run.

The 17-year-old resident described the suspect as a man driving a white SUV and wearing a dark hoodie and glasses. The teenager said the man said something to her. Police said the Barrington teen ran home and called police.

Officers checked the area but could not find the suspect vehicle.
