The historic Newport Folk Festival will take place this weekend, July 22-24 at Fort Adams State Park. Performances go all day Friday, Saturday and Sunday, with gates opening at 10:00 a.m.
This year's featured acts include Japanese Breakfast, The National, Bleachers, Lucy Dacus, Anais Mitchell, Brandi Carlile, The Roots and Marren Morris. The festival's four stages are accompanied by many vendors and food stands, all located on the scenic Newport Harbor.
