Barrington Town Council candidate withdraws from the race

Chris Coleman places support behind Independents

Posted

One of the four Independent candidates running for Barrington Town Council has withdrawn from the race.

Chris Coleman recently confirmed that he will not be pursuing a seat on the Council.

“I want to thank those that supported my bid for Town Council,” Coleman wrote in an email to the Barrington Times. “I believe the three Independent candidates for Town Council will provide the best opportunity to make a significant and meaningful impact for the future of Barrington. I know Brian, Derick and Bryan will give everything they have to ensuring Barrington is a better place for businesses to grow, residents to flourish and our children to take advantage of every opportunity this town has to offer.”

Coleman’s exit from the Council race leaves three Independent candidates and four Democrats in the race. The Independent candidates are Derick Daley, Brian Hughes and Bryan Hoffman. The Democrats are Anthony Arico, Liana Cassar, Jordan Jancosek and Kerry O’Neill.
