Bristol PD: Police make 10 arrests in busy week

Monday, July 8

Police gave a no trespass order to an irate customer of Dunkin Donuts on Metacom Avenue at 8:21 a.m.

Fraud was reported on Hope Street at 11:30 a.m.

Police spoke to a man who was on a bike on the Mt. Hope Bridge at 11:38 p.m. He said he was just waiting for a bus.

Tuesday, July 9

A man was dispersed from the Town Beach at 9:59 a.m. following a report of suspicious activity.

A gas leak from an unsecured drier on Addy Drive brought out the hazmat team from the fire department at 4:40 p.m

Police looked into a possible road rage incident near State and Wood Streets at 6:55 p.m.

Wednesday, July 10

Police dispersed a large group of people from Lower Ferry Road at 12:16 a.m.

Phaedra E. Dziedzic, 39, no address listed, was arrested on a warrant on Metacom Avenue at 7:20 a.m. and charged with one count of domestic violence (simple assault and/or battery, first offense).

Police dispersed a woman from the CVS on Metacom Avenue at 2:21 p.m. after a report of possible shoplifting.

The marine rescue unit was notified of a kayak in the water near the Mt. Hope Bridge at 6:13 p.m. The harbor patrol believed the kayak blew into the water from the land, and that no one had capsized into the water.

Kate I. Stanley, born 1980, of 66 Hall St., Fall River, Mass., was arrested on State Street at 10:19 p.m. She was charged with domestic violence (criminal violation of a no contact order, first offense).

Thursday, July 11

John Rose, 73, of 75 Perry St., Bristol, was arrested on Metacom Avenue at 10:00 a.m. He was charged with an active Superior Court bench warrant and a bench warrant for failure to appear at an arraignment. He was later transported to court.

Police responded to Jane Lane at 3:03 p.m. for a report of suspicious activity but police learned it was just a Facebook Marketplace transaction occurring.

Christopher D. Walker, of 5 Michael Dr., Bristol, was arrested at 3:42 p.m. and charged with one count of domestic violence (disorderly conduct, first offense).

Jason M. Carotenuti, born 1974, of 9 Reid St., Bristol, was arrested on Gooding Avenue at 5:01 p.m. and charged with unauthorized dissemination of indecent materials (first offense), and domestic violence (vandalism, first offense).

Corey J. Ventura, 42, of 3 Woodlawn Ave., Bristol, was arrested at 7:00 p.m. at Vet’s Park. He was charged with one count of vandalism.

Friday, July 12

Police dispersed a man who was sleeping near the bell by the front door to Mt. Carmel Church on State Street at 5:13 a.m.

Maria Walker, 41, of 5 Michael Dr., was arrested at 9:15 a.m. and charged with one count of domestic violence (disorderly conduct, first offense). She was transported to court later that day.

Daniel J. Wilkinson, 38, of 20 Croade St., Apt. #2F, Warren, was arrested after turning himself in on a warrant at 8:30 a.m. He was charged with one count of vandalism and was later transported to court.

Aiden J. Dumond, 19, of 100 16th St., Apt. #3, Fall River, Mass., was arrested on Metacom Avenue at 12:52 p.m. and charged with reckless driving and other offenses against public safety (first offense), and disorderly conduct. He was later transported to court.

Saturday, July 13

Police extinguished a small fire found in a trash can at the Town Beach at 12:53 a.m.

Authorities removed a dead skunk from the road near Wood and Catherine Streets at 12:12 p.m.

Police received a report that someone had found a handgun in a boat near Poppasquash Road at 3:25 p.m.

Sunday, July 14

Police responded to Bourne Street at 9:58 a.m. following a report a juvenile had been bitten by the family dog. The animal control officer was advised.

Yaltsin A. Anicet, born 1991, of 419 Metacom Ave., Bristol, was arrested on an affidavit warrant at 10:33 a.m.

Police received a report that a juvenile was hanging out of a car window near Metacom and Massasoit Avenues at 7:41 p.m. Upon speaking with the people involved, the mother said her son had only stuck his arm out of the car window.
