Green Animals is open for the season
A camel, giraffe and bears, oh, my! Green Animals Topiary Garden, a historic 7-acre property along Narragansett Bay, features more than 80 boxwood, privet and yew plants shaped like animals and decorative forms and lots of other flowers and plants. Picnic baskets are welcome.
WHAT: Green Animals Topiary Garden
WHEN: Daily from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. through Sept. 1, then on weekends through Sept. 30. Grounds close one hour after the last tour admission.
WHERE: 380 Cory’s Lane, Portsmouth
COST: $25 for adults, $10 for ages 6 to 12 and free for age 5 and under
