A Barrington home built in 1867 sold recently for $1.75 million.

The sale of “Sweetland” on New Meadow Road is the highest sale recorded in the Hampden Meadow area so far this year, according to statewide MLS data.

The mansard-roofed Victorian home features four bedrooms and sweeping views of the Barrington River. It also has a swimming pool and a cabana with a full bath, a deck and manicured grounds. 

“Indoor/outdoor living is fully integrated with the sunroom opening out to the rear deck,” stated a press release announcing the recent sale. The home also features a three-bay garage, workshop and an available boat mooring.
