I just received my May 18 Shorelines. The one where selectboard says a "strong marketing campaign" is necessary for override vote to pass. Isn't that the same as propaganda when politicians push an agenda by "educating" the public for a desired outcome? Reminds me of the potential $59M tax impact we were sold in 2018. Does the "multitude of information" only include what's "feasible"? Is Shorelines part of that marketing since it was influential in Westport's salespitch for new school and Diman votes?

A lifelong Portsmouth resident, Jim graduated from Portsmouth High School in 1982 and earned a journalism degree from the University of Rhode Island in 1986.
