On Saturday, the Barrington High School boys hockey team hosted Mount Saint Charles at the Portsmouth Abbey. The Mounties opened up the scoring four minutes into the game and skated into the second period with a 2-0 lead. The Mounties took a 3-0 lead 4:34 into the second period. It took just 15 seconds for the Eagles’ Cole Vieira to respond and make it 3-1. Sophomore Cam Hayes assisted.

Two minutes into the third period, Mount took back its three-goal lead. The Eagles’ Trevor Snow made it 4-2 with four minutes remaining; Adam Gorman and Hayes assisted. The Mounties added two more goals in the waning seconds to secure a 6-2 victory over the Eagles.

The Eagles hockey team travelled to Levy Rink in Burrillville Friday night and defeated the Burrillville Broncos, 4-1.

Snow opened the scoring three minutes into the game; picking up assists were sophomores Cody Wood and Chase Watts.

Sophomore Drake Almeida made it 2-0 at the 3:17 mark of the second period. Classmate Henry Kelsey assisted. Seven minute later, Watts gave the Eagles a 3-0 lead on assists from Kelsey and Wood.

Burrillville made things interesting midway through the third, until Watts added a power play goal with just over a minute to play. Snow and sophomore Erik Hall assisted. Sophomore goalie Dom Bruzzi turned away 18 of the 19 shots he faced.
