Track renovations at Kickemuit Middle School pushed to Aug. 21

Posted

An article posted online last week informed readers about the impending closure of the track at Kickemuit Middle School in anticipation of renovations that would resurface and re-stripe the track.

The repairs were predicted to take about two weeks, beginning this past Friday. However, Parks and Recreation Director Tara Thibaudeau said Tuesday morning that due to delays in acquiring materials, the anticipated start for repairs would be pushed back to Monday, Aug. 21.

The track will remain open until that time.
