Total cost (principal and fees and interest) of the recently approved seven state bonds: $642 million.
2021 total Rhode Island bond obligations is approximately $2 billion.
Total debt of each Rhode Island taxpayer: $14,700.
Per-capta bond debt is $10,215.
Rhode Island presently ranked second among the 50 states in per-capita state debt by the federal government.
