Warren Police Log: Officers make nine arrests for various infractions

The following is the Warren Police Department weekly arrest blotter:

Saturday, Sept. 5

Officers were dispatched to the area of Kickemuit Road for a disturbance at approximately 6:48 p.m. Upon arrival, officers began interviewing involved parties who reported they were assaulted by a female who they identified as Corrinne Miller, 19 and of Warren. Same reported Miller had fled on foot prior to police arrival. Officers were able to locate Miller and she was taken into custody. She was charged with Domestic Simple Assault, Simple Assault (two counts) Domestic Disorderly Conduct and Obstructing An Officer In Execution Of Duty. Miller was later transported to the ACI Women's Intake Facility. 

Sunday, Sept. 6

Jose Vieira, 44 and of East Providence, was stopped on Market Street for a motor vehicle violation at approximately 1:19 a.m. After an investigation, Vieira agreed to take a series of field sobriety tests which he failed. Vieira was taken into custody and charged with DUI First Offense (Unknown Blood Alcohol Concentration). He was arraigned and later released.

Officers responded to a residence on Main Street for a disturbance at approximately 7:45 p.m. Upon arrival, officers determined that a physical altercation had taken place. Gwendolyn Brunskill, 68 and of Warren, was later arrested and charged with Domestic Simple Assault, Domestic Vandalism and Domestic Disorderly Conduct. She was later transported to District Court for her arraignment.

An officer observed two vehicles drag racing on Metacom Avenue at approximately 8:16 p.m. Officers stopped both vehicles and identified the drivers of each. Peter DaSilva, 18 and from Warren, and a 17-year-old male from Bristol were arrested. Both were charged with Street Racing and Reckless Driving (First Offense). They were both issued a future court date.

Monday, Sept. 7

Erik Valdez, 37 and of Cranston, was stopped on Everett Street for a motor vehicle violation at approximately 8 p.m. Valdez was arrested after officers observed he had a suspended Rhode Island driver's license. Valdez was charged with Driving With A Suspended License (4th or subsequent offense). Valdez was given a future court date.

Tuesday, Sept. 8

Officers were dispatched to the area of Main Street and Child Street for the report of a hit and run motor vehicle accident at approximately 5:40 a.m. After an investigation, Carlos Zabala Medina, 28 and of Bristol, turned himself into police headquarters. He was charged with Leaving The Scene Of An Accident (attended vehicle). He was transported to District Court for his arraignment.

Curtis Charboneau, 57 and of Warren, turned himself into police headquarters at approximately 8:58 a.m. and wish to speak with detectives regarding a motor vehicle theft case that he was a suspect in. Charboneau was later charged with Motor Vehicle Theft and was transported to District Court for his arraignment.

Officers were dispatched to a residence on Main Street for the report of restraining order violation at approximately 10:32 p.m. Officers located and arrested Jacob Wright, 20 and of Providence. He was charged with Violation Of Protection Order and was later transported to District Court for his arraignment.
