Barrington’s Zoey Despines earned all-conference recognition for a standout season on the Haverford College field hockey team.

Despines, a junior midfielder for the Fords, was recently named All-Centennial Conference honorable mention. Despines led Haverford in assists this season. She started all 17 games this season, had 23 shots and 12 shots on goal. Despines also scored the game-winning goal — her first career goal for Haverford — in a game against McDaniel. Haverford finished the 2023 season with a 7-10 record overall and 2-8 mark in the conference.

A second-team All-State selection in high school for the Eagles, Despines was named to the Centennial Conference Fall Academic Honor Roll in 2022 and 2023, and the NFHCA Academic Squad in 2021 and 2022.

Despines is majoring in neuroscience at Haverford College.
