Members of Barrington High School boys indoor track team braved the storm on Sunday and competed at two separate meets — the Bryant University High School Throws Competition, and the debut of the Marathon Sports Winter Classic at the prestigious Track at New Balance in Boston.

Barrington had three meet champions: Joe Adams placed first in the weight competition at Bryant, and Ethan Knight was a double-meet champion at Marathon Sports, placing first in the 60-meter hurdles and also in the 400-meter race.

Bobby Wind finished second to Knight in a photo-finish in the hurdles, while Ryan Martin finished fourth and Jared Lesk was sixth.

Patrick Trainor finished third in the long jump event, with a distance of 19 feet, 9.5 inches. His teammate, Aiden Memoli, finished fifth in the same event with a distance of 18 feet, 5.25 inches. Memoli was also fourth in the triple jump.

Chucky Potter finished third in the high jump. The BHS senior cleared five feet, 10.25 inches. Charly Potter finished eighth in the 60-meter dash with a time of 7.46 seconds.
