Bertha C. (Barry) Lial, 93, of Warren, RI, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 20, 2021, five days before her 94th birthday, at Grace Barker Health Center, Warren, RI.

She was the wife of the late Manuel L. Lial Jr.

Born in Warren, RI, she was the daughter of the late James E. and Stella J.(Cyganowski) Barry.

Mrs. Lial was a Communicant of St. Mary of the Bay Parish in Warren. She was a member of the Colonial Rottweiler Club and the Key Dog Training Club. She also loved buying and selling antiques.

She is survived by a daughter, Melanie L. Caton and her husband Merton of Warren, RI; a son, Barry L. Lial of Cambridge, ME; two grandchildren, Jennifer Colbath(James) and Jillian Cornell (Jonathan); and two great-grandchildren, Lilian Colbath and Harrison Cornell.

She was also the sister of the late James E. Barry and Robert J. Barry.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 31, in St. Mary of the Bay Church, 645 Main Street, Warren, RI. Burial will follow in St. Mary of the Bay Cemetery.

Calling hours are omitted.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Grace Barker Nursing Home and Warren Animal Hospital.
