EAST PROVIDENCE — The final Weaver Library Farmers Market of the 2022 season took place on Thursday afternoon, Sept. 15.

A special treat at the last two gatherings of the summer for children and adults alike were the alpacas from the Lazy K Ranch/Hidden Nook Farms. Some of the kids on hand last week feed the mother (black) and baby alpaca. The Lazy K Ranch/Hidden Nook Farms booth included items, such as socks, made from alpaca yarn.

Other vendors on hand included market original and city-based Delfina’s Plants, the University of Rhode Island SNAP program provided guests with tips on healthy eating/living; Cardboard Ox provided music during the finale; and the library’s “Big Blue Blocks.”
