The Ocean State’s only comedy festival returns for Spring Fest this May 25 to 29, with 12 shows across Newport and Portsmouth. Some of the best local and nationally touring comedians will perform at four separate venues — Ragged Island Brewery, Top Of Pelham, Firehouse Theater and Jane Pickens Theater.
Featured comedians include Chris Distefano (Netflix, MTVs Guy Code, and hit podcasts “Chrissy Chaos” and “Hey, Babe!” with Sal Vulcano), Mike Cannon (YouTube, Comedy Central, Sirius XM), Laura Severse (Don’t Tell Comedy), Napoleon Emill (Don't Tell Comedy, Just for Laughs Comedy Festival "New Faces") and more.
Spring Fest will also include a live recording of the infamous Stuff Island podcast with comedians Chris O’Connor and Tommy Pope.
Started in 2015, the Rogue Island is Rhode Island’s only comedy festival, held in Newport bi-annually, and produced by native Rhode Islanders Doug Key and Katie Latimer.
