Many Stone Soup Coffeehouse attendees probably know WS Monroe, or “Bill,” as one of the dedicated sound people behind the big board at each of their shows. What they may not know is that Bill is also an accomplished musician and he will be performing for the first time in his own Stone Soup show on Saturday, March 23 at The Music Mansion
WS Monroe has been playing music for more than 50 years. Mainly a singer (who sometimes sings with no accompaniment), he also plays a variety of instruments, performing solo and with others: sometimes with his wife, Rebecca Leuchak, or with Matteo Casini on guitar, or with the Quahog Quire, an a cappella group that does a variety of folk music for group singing.
WHEN: Saturday, March 23, at 7 p.m.
WHERE: The Music Mansion at 88 Meeting St, Providence
PRICING: $22 per ticket - Tickets can be purchased and reserved online as well as at the door. Please appear at least 15 minutes before the performance begins, or you will relinquish your reserved tickets to those waiting to attend (unless it is prepaid).
