Tiverton Farmers Market moves outdoors this Sunday

The Tiverton Farmers Market, which has been a staple in the community for four years, makes its seasonal move outside to the Tiverton Town Farm Recreational Area this week.

“We are excited to bring the market outside and create a space where people can come together and enjoy the best that our region has to offer,” says Director and Market Manager Meredith Brower. “There is something special about shopping for fresh produce and other goods in an outdoor setting. It creates a sense of community and connection that you just can’t get in a traditional grocery store.”

The market will feature a diverse range of vendors, offering everything from fresh vegetables, seasonal fruits, meats & seafood, eggs, artisanal breads, cheese and honey, prepared foods, kombucha, mocktails, cutting boards, functional pottery,  linens and much more. Customers can expect to find a wide variety of options, including vegan and gluten-free products, ensuring that there is something for everyone.

“We are committed to supporting local farmers, food makers, and food entrepreneurs,” says Brower. “By shopping at the Tiverton Farmers Market, customers are not only getting high-quality products, but they are also supporting the local economy and helping to create a sustainable food system.”

The Tiverton Farmers Market will kick off its outdoor summer season on Sunday, May 19, at the Tiverton Town Farm Recreational Area, south field. It will be open every Sunday from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. until Oct. 13.
