Police arrested seven people between July 1 and July 7, 2024, including multiple instances of assault.

Warren PD: Woman arrested after allegedly biting partner’s face

Monday, July 1
A Davis Street resident called police at 8:58 a.m. to report that various items had gone missing from their mother’s home for the past month, and that they had a suspect in mind.

A Child Street resident called police at 12:30 p.m. saying that a truck had damaged their porch and the company was refusing to settle the matter privately.

Lisa M. Vieira, 58, of 12 Bay Rd., Warren, was arrested on a Bench Warrant from the 6th District Court at 7:32 p.m. She was altered transferred to the ACI.

Tuesday, July 2
Police looked for three motorcyclists on Metacom Avenue at 7:36 p.m. who allegedly left Bristol at excessive speeds while doing wheelies.

People were dispersed from Burr’s Hill Park at 10:23 p.m.

Christopher A. Wood, 32, of 350 Water St., Warren, was arrested following an accident near Main Street and Sowamsett Avenue at 11:39 p.m. He was charged with DUI of liquor (BAC unknown, first offense), and refusal to submit to a chemical test. He was given a summons and released early the next morning.

Wednesday, July 3
A 16-year-old juvenile was arrested at 12:28 a.m. on Wood Street following a report of a conflict. The teen was charged with simple assault and/or battery and disorderly conduct.

Police responded to Dunkin Donuts on Main Street at 7:49 a.m. for multiple reports of a disorderly woman who was allegedly shouting and throwing objects at passing vehicles.

Michael R. Rodrigues, 37, of 113 Water St., Warren, was arrested on a Bench Warrant from 2nd District Court at 12:15 p.m. on Metacom Avenue. He was transported to the ACI later that afternoon.

Police were notified at 4:36 p.m. that a dog bite had occurred at a residence on Main Street. The dog was later transported to the animal shelter.

Thursday, July 4
Police advised people on Child Street to quiet down after a complaint of a loud party was reported at 2:50 a.m.

A Kickemuit Road resident reported receiving threatening text and phone messages at 12:57 p.m., and feared they had been victimized by a scam.
Police received claims from a resident of a care facility that they had been inappropriately touched by an employee at 12:59 p.m.

Police received a report from Hall Avenue at 3:33 p.m. regarding “homeless parties being loud in the woods at night.”

A Birchswamp Road resident reported at 6:33 p.m. that a man in a white sedan had urinated across from their home. Police caught up with the vehicle and the driver said that they had pulled over because a passenger was feeling sick.

Police responded to seven reports of fireworks throughout the town between 9:08 p.m. and midnight. No further issues regarding those reports were indicated.

Friday, July 5
Police received a complaint that people were shooting off fireworks at the Town Beach at 12:48 a.m. They were dispersed from the area.

A mulch fire was reported at Burr’s Hill Park at 2:22 a.m.

A Market Street resident reported at 10:04 a.m. that their landlord had canceled their lease agreement and was now refusing to return their money.

A Broad Street resident reported being threatened by a neighbor over a parking issue at 11:55 a.m.

A caller reported to police at 5:59 p.m. that their significant other had taken their phone and sent themselves money from their account. They learned later the money had been returned.

The owner of a Main Street business reported at 9:15 p.m. that they had caught an employee stealing his bicycle from behind the building.

Ashlee C. Pattie, 44, of 91 Main St., Apt. #256, Warren, was arrested at 9:53 p.m. following a call from a neighbor that a man had come to her door requesting help after “being bitten in the face by his partner.” She was charged with three counts of domestic violence (assault on a person in excess of 60 years old causing bodily injury, refusal to release/relinquish/causing damage to or obstructing a telephone, first offense, and disorderly conduct, first offense). She was arraigned and released later that evening.

Saturday, July 6
Jack Richard Silva, 18, of 9 Warren Ave., Apt. #9, Warren, was arrested following an altercation with family members at 3:04 p.m. He was charged with two counts of domestic violence (simple assault and/or battery, and disorderly conduct, both first offenses). He was arraigned and released later that day.

Warren authorities assisted DEM and the Department of Fish and Wildlife at 5:53 p.m. after receiving a report that a young osprey may have been abandoned on the Full Channel TV Tower on Serpentine Road. After offering to use one of their fire engines to reach the bird, they found the bird was eating and okay on the cameras that watch the nest. No further action was needed.

A caller believed that they might have seen a dead dog on the road near Harbor Animal Hospital on Market Street at 9:12 p.m. Upon further review, thankfully it was just an empty bag.

Police were called to Union Street at 10:39 p.m. for a noise complaint. They got called back at 10:50 p.m. with a report they got even louder after the police left. Five minutes later they reported the people seemed to be leaving for the evening.

Sunday, July 7
An Asselin Street resident reported at 12:19 p.m. they were the victim of a scam where money was lost.

Kevin M. Krawczyk, 32, of 3020 Bayshore Pointę Dr., Tampa, Fla., was arrested at 1:12 p.m. on Fatima Drive following an altercation. He was charged with two counts of assault on a person in excess of 60 years of age causing bodily injury, and three counts of domestic violence (two disorderly conduct charges, first offense, and one count of refusal to relinquish/damage to/obstruction use of a telephone, first offense). He was arraigned and transported to the ACI later that afternoon.

Authorities assisted a turtle that was stuck inside the tennis court at Jamiel’s Park at 6:12 p.m.
