The hallways of the new Middle High School took a spooky turn late last week, when members of the middle and high school student councils transformed them Friday and dressed up for an early Halloween celebration attended by more than 250 of their peers and their families.
Members of both student councils created and hung decorations, handed out candy, and led younger students from across the district in arts, crafts and games and a dance party.
"I was extremely proud of our students and the experience they provided for our younger students," said Jen Gargiulo, a middle school teacher and advisor to the middle school student council.
"It was great to see such a well-attended community event," said Gargiulo, who worked alongside high school art teacher and student council advisor Melissa Lambert.
Students who helped make the 'Haunted Hallway' possible include Tyler Simonin, Camryn Rezendes, Shelby Orr, Avery Viveiros, Victoria Rodrigues, Olivia Carvalho, Henry Gillet, Olivia Hok, Tess Silvia, Julia George, Holly Roy, Colleen Smith, Abby White, Hailey Medeiros and Ella Turenne.
