PORTSMOUTH — Here are some recent arrests made by the Portsmouth Police Department.

Tuesday, June 18

Fabricio Vargas Valle, 40, of 156 McCorrie Lane, was charged with identify fraud, first offense, after being arrested at his home on a warrant at about 7:30 a.m., police said.

John C. Alepakis, 34, of 2163 Turnpike St., North Andover, Mass., was charged with obtaining property by false pretenses/personation, between $1,500 and $5,000. Alepakis turned himself in at police headquarters on an arrest warrant at 10 a.m., police said.

Ryan Russell DeBlois, 43, of 109 Cottage Ave., was arrested in the area of Park Avenue and Boyds Lane at about 10:45 a.m. on a warrant for failing to appear in 2nd District Court. 

Saturday, June 22

Thomas Joseph Burke, 23, of 380 Judson St., Raynham, Mass., was charged with driving under the influence (DUI), first offense, following a motor vehicle accident on Bristol Ferry Road at Boyds Lane around 12:25 a.m., according to police. Burke was also cited for refusing to submit to a chemical test.

Kamrin Jakob Pratt, 24, of 40 Cedar Ave., was charged with DUI, second offense, following a motor vehicle accident on East Main Road in front of St. Barnabas Church around 7:30 p.m. Pratt was also cited for refusing to submit to a chemical test.

Justin Tyler Booth, 32, of 32 Lafayette St., was charged with domestic disorderly conduct and illegal storage of firearms. Officers responded to Booth’s home shortly before 8 p.m. to investigate a report of an intoxicated man threatening others inside of his residence, according to police. Officers were made aware prior to arriving that Booth had an unknown number of firearms in his possession, police said. The victims were a 36-year-old man, a 32-year-old woman, and two juveniles, all from Portsmouth, according to police.

Sunday, June 23

Anthony James Boyd, 24, of 148 Ohio Ave., Providence, was charged with reckless driving at about 12:45 p.m. following a single-car accident on Route 24 South at Anthony Road. Boyd was transported to Newport Hospital for evaluation, and then later held at the police station pending his arraignment, police said.
