Thank you so much for working on the piece about families wanting mask choice for their families. I am a first-grade teacher in Middletown and a parent and read every page of your six-page piece.
I feel complicit having students wear masks while they are working on reading, writing, word study, math, music, art, etc. from 8-3 each day. It’s absolutely egregious what we are doing to children.
Sadly people think the masks help, not realizing the virus is so tiny. Thank you for your courage to share how families think during this two-year “pandemic.”
