Monday, Sept. 11 At 9:21 a.m., an 18-wheeler carrying construction materials became stuck when turning into a driveway. It was eventually freed by a tow truck. At 1:02 p.m., a Highland Avenue resident reported receiving an IRS scam call. At 8:21 p.m., an Indian Road resident reported receiving an IRS scam call. Tuesday, Sept. 12 A motorist on West Main Road struck a deer at 6:28 a.m. and was able to drive his car from the scene. He was not injured, but the car sustained heavy front-end damage.
